We know how much you’ve and missed the in-person Summit, and we have too. That’s why we are bringing the OpenInfra Summit back this year and headed to Berlin, Germany on June 7-9, 2022!
The OpenInfra Summit is where the people building and running open source infrastructure using OpenStack, Kubernetes and 30+ other technologies come to collaborate. At the Summit, operators and developers come together to create the future of infrastructure by making open source components work together. Join us in Berlin to collaborate about cloud technology, from data center to the network edge, for apps ranging from AI and Machine Learning to 5G and beyond.
Nils Magnus loves Berlin and the Summit. We are sure you do too, so here are a few ways to get involved in the OpenInfra Summit before the event:
Sponsor, reach thousands and influence the community
Having a presence at the Summit is a great way to get your company in front of the global OpenInfra community. This is an opportunity to meet with thousands of IT decision makers building infrastructure, while also collaborating with (and recruiting!) the developers building the world’s most important open source cloud tools.
The sponsorship information is now live! Whichever level you choose to participate in, you’ll want to act quickly — we’ve already seen a lot of interest from potential sponsors.
Act quickly, early bird tickets are on sale now
We’re sure you’ve heard of the idiom “when in Berlin, do as the Berliner do” (wink), and that includes taking advantage of the early bird tickets when you can! The OpenInfra Summit will be a limited capacity, sellout event. A limited quantity of early bird pricing tickets are available, so save your seat before they run out!
As the Foundation staff start filling the stands safely, the production crew prepares the venue and the spotlight gathers on the speakers, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure you’re there safely, experiencing the in-person event again, at the Summit you’ve missed the most.
Join the programming committee and influence the Summit
Programming Committee nominations for the 2022 OpenInfra Summit in Berlin are now open until January 19, 2022!
- Help the Summit team put together the best possible content based on your subject matter expertise
- Promote the individual Tracks within your networks
- Review the submissions and Community voting results in your particular Track
- Determine if there are any major content gaps in your Track, and if so, potentially solicit additional speakers directly to submit
- Ensure diversity of speakers and companies represented in your Track
- Avoid vendor sales pitches, focusing more on real-world user stories and technical, in-the-trenches experiences
- Identify which submissions would make good content for OpenInfra Live, the virtual show hosted by the OpenInfra Foundation that encourages live questions from a global audience
Programming Committees for each Track will help build the Summit schedule, and are made up of individuals working in open infrastructure. If you’d like to nominate yourself or someone else to be a member of the Summit Programming Committee, please fill out the nomination form by January 19th!
