In just a few days, stackers from around the world will meet up at the Vancouver Summit.

Victor Lagunes, CIO, office of the President of Mexico, will share the vision of a country betting on Openstack to accelerate the roadmap for a new delivery of services. [Lagunes](https://twitter.com/VictorLagunes) contributed to the creation and implementation of e-government federal public policies in support of the 2013 [National Digital Strategy (NDS)](http://embamex.sre.gob.mx/hungria/images/stories/docs/nds.pdf) which seeks to transform Mexico through technology and contribute to wider goals of the country.

An all-star panel will show you the inner workings of this key feature of Kilo, the 11th release of OpenStack. With Kilo, for the first time, you can log in on one dashboard and deploy across multiple clouds from many vendors worldwide. By the current count there are OpenStack public clouds running in 40 cities in 17 countries, on six continents. To show you how it all comes together are Blue Box OpenStack engineer Jesse Keating; DigitalFilm Tree CTO Guillaume Aubuchon and Hewlett-Packard’s Morgan Feinberg and Guang Yee.

##Walmart’s OpenStack journey
Exceeding 100,000 cores, currently has one of the largest OpenStack build-outs. For an idea of the scale, picture this: Walmart’s OpenStack cloud powered 1.5 billion page views during the 2014 Thanksgiving holidays. Join the WalmartLabs team to hear how they built its cloud, including some of the challenges and lessons they learned along the way. The retail giant will be represented in Vancouver by Kalyan Adavikolanu, director of cloud development and engineering, James Downs, cloud strategy and architecture, and Amandeep Singh Juneja, senior director, cloud engineering and operations.

##How NASA does hybrid cloud
Did you know that OpenStack is supporting three NASA missions? Come hear more about the [Mars 2020](http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/mars2020/) project, the [Europa Clipper](http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/missions/details.php?id=6002) and Soil Moisture Active Passive [(SMAP)](http://smap.jpl.nasa.gov/) when Jonathan Chiang, senior director of infrastructure engineering at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), takes the stage in Vancouver. Joined by [Sebastian Stadil,](https://twitter.com/sebastianstadil) founder of Scalr, Chiang will share how the NASA hybrid cloud framework enables scientists to choose between OpenStack, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure when deploying workloads.
