Learn more about the Superuser Awards.

Following the successful launch of OpenStack’s inaugural Superuser Awards at the Paris Summit in November 2014, the community has continued to award winners at every Summit to users who show how OpenStack is making a difference and provide strategic value in their organization. At the Paris Summit, CERN was chosen as the winner from an impressive roster of finalists, Comcast took the award home in Vancouver and NTT Group joined the roster of winners at the Tokyo Summit in October 2015.

Submissions are open until March 11 and once the finalists are selected by the Superuser Editorial Advisory Board, the OpenStack community will vote among the finalists to determine the overall winner. Polling will begin in late March.

When evaluating winners for the Superuser Award, judges and community members take into account the unique nature of use case(s), as well as integrations and applications of OpenStack performed by a particular team.

Additional selection criteria includes how the workload has transformed the company’s business, including quantitative and qualitative results of performance as well as community impact in terms of code contributions, feedback, knowledge sharing, etc.

Winners will take the stage at the OpenStack Summit in Austin. Submissions are open now until March 11, 2016. You’re invited to nominate your team or nominate a Superuser here.
